Blow the Fuse is looking for more groups for short first sets for our next season at the Vortex.
Running from January to May 2012 we’re putting on some new things and we’d be very interested in hearing from jazz groups/musicians that we haven’t programmed before. Only stipulation is that the group must feature or be led by a woman instrumentalist…
Interested? Please contact us (preferably with a You Tube link) at info@blowthe fuse.com

First two Electric Landladies gigs have been great fun. Last one of the season at Chats Palace is sold out but.. we will be doing a special Electric Landladies unplugged – aka Acoustic Landladies – at the Vortex on Jan 10.

Or come down to Jan’s for the BTF sort of Christmas party on Dec 16. Lots of music, guests and a whole box of Roses chocs!

An A – Z of British jazz have stayed at their house and Feldenkrais is brilliant for, well I was going to say musicians but actually who doesn’t suffer from poor posture?

I’ll be posting a few more photos but this is a lovely one by Kathy Dyson from Cape Cornwall.
